Central Academy, Ajmer was set up in 1988 under the inspiring leadership, invaluable guidance and unrelenting support of Shri T. N. Mishra, a renowned academician always in quest of glorious scholastic heights. It was situated at Lohagal Road, Ajmer and was affiliated to RBSE, In the year 2004 school shifted to new location in the foot of Aravalli hills surrounded by natural environment at Pragati Nagar Kotra Ajmer. The school slowly expanded and got affiliated to CBSE till class 12th. It has grown through the years and expanded its infrastructure to include to expanded auditorium, classrooms, prominent facilities like digital classes, Atal Tinkering Lab, Swimming Pool, etc.
